Excellent story with a heartwarming ending and an inspiring moral that will hopefully encourage today's youth to dream and to achieve great things! I'm also happy to see that this positive, character-building story took place in Memphis! Now there's something else, besides barbecue and 1950s rock and roll, that Memphians can brag about: the city's industrious and innovative young men seizing an opportunity to make money by taking out the trash! Fantastic!

This is excellent.

With the border wide open I'm assuming we are not just letting the barbarians in, but paying them, feeding them and housing them. They are already organizing in criminal gangs. Such thinking as this may be more necessary than we think.

Killer piece. Feels just like conversations i've had with my imaginary friends many times. Reality is just imagination, after all. How many of us are imagining things along these lines at any given time? Man, good thing we would never do something like this! I look forward to more of your purely speculative and escapist fiction with great earnest.

Saw this through John Carter - excellent story. No idea of fiction or now, but I have a strong conviction that we are going to start seeing this kind of thing more and more often as society continues to splinter and institutions lose trust and efficacy. Happy hunting!

Banger . This is great. Omar from the Wire but not a homo thug . A group of based white boys robin the hood.

I suspect it would be less easy then described; criminal gangs do get into conflicts with each other and this target was clearly unprepared for this attack.
